Miscellaneous (from Lowell Clark): Bled blue and gray. I was fortunate to have worked along side him keeping Reitz basketball stats. "Grandpa" (as he was affectionately referred to by most of the younger generations), knew everybody and just about anything related to Reitz athletics. I know he kept baseball, football and basketball stats for years and probably other sports as well.

He indeed carried the ideals of Reitz football forward to the community. He also was a member of the "greatest generation" as historians like to say. He definitely demonstrated love for his country and for the ideals our great nation was based upon as he fought to defend our country during WWII across the seas. "Grandpa", another excellent choice.
