• He coached the Panthers to 189 wins, 51 losses and 14 ties, an all-time win percentage of 77.1%
• He led the Panthers to six state titles (1948, 53, 56, 57, 60, 61), 13 SIAC championships (1942, 47 to 50, 52, 53, 56, 57, 60 to 62, 67) and 14 city titles (1945, 47 to 50, 52, 53, 56, 57, 60 to 62, 65, 67)
