Now I can watch three games!!!

What is going on? What games are they showing? Is there someplace I can find out?

The deal with Mike blake and Jake Schiff I believe is they are just going to broadcast the game just like it is on the radio, they are not going to show the game. If you read about it it says BROADCAST not TELECAST.

Why would they air audio only on their digital station? The only thing more painful than watching Mike Blake on tv would be listening to him do radio play by play.

Touchdown live game on 14 web sports page also gives the cable channels I do not think this will be just audio. that would be plain crazy for what it costs. going head to head with Lance Wilkerson for sports market tv

Mike Blake is terrible. He mis-speaks so much. There was an awards banquet recently where each school nominated a male and a female athlete. I don't know what the name of the event/award was, but it was an student/athlete of the year type award. Hank LaRue from Mater Dei won the award for the boys. Tony Ewers was our male representative. Mike Blake was the MC. He introduced Tony and then said "SHE is the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. ....". All the while there is a huge picture of Tony displayed on the overhead. People in the audience were laughing, making noises, and trying to get his attention to correct him. He did the same thing to someone from another school too.

Agreed Pantherfan. I didnt want to get a fire started but Mike Blake gets lost doing a 5 minute sports segment, how can he keep with with play-by-play. I am sure Lance will cover us plenty. As has been the case for several years, channel 25 in way ahead of anyone else in the area in high school coverage.

Just listen to Jake Schiff and you will understand how and why he was such a great qb. He is one of the smartest football minds ever. I'm not sure how exciting he will be but this guy will break down these d's like nobody you've ever seen. Going out and getting Jake was a good move on Mike Blakes part because Mater Dei people worship him and Mater Dei people will watch the games just to hear Jake. MD and Reitz have the biggest fan bases by far in the siac.

No doubt about the fan bases. Both may be top 5 in the state as far as that goes. I lived in Indy and those schools with 3000 and up can draw for their big games what we do for an average game. Just watch the Indy paper website and they brag about getting 8000 for a Ben Davis and Warren game. We topped that, what? 4 times last year or more.

Agreed. The addition of Jake could make it tolerable.

Wow lol...What's with all the Mike Blake bashing? While I'm more of a NEWS 25 guy, like him or not, he's served the Tri-State for many, many years. Anyone on here have anything good to say about him?
