What makes Reitz Football special to you?

From T. Evans, Class of 2001: Reitz is packed full of tradition in high school football. Being one of the oldest schools around, there are many seasons to talk about.

But the one that sticks out in my mind the most has got to be the '61, 9-0, unscored upon team.That is tied with Portland H.S. for least amount of points given up in one season.

The coaches and the administrators that have been through the school in the last 80 sum odd years have been terrific as well. The fans are also what makes Reitz football so special. You couldn't ask for a better community to host a football team.
