What is your favorite Reitz Football moment?

from Renee Smithey: My favorite Reitz Football moment occurred during the second meeting of Reitz and Castle last fall [2002]. Our son, Ramsey (#75), came off the field after the winning touchdown was scored and took a knee to thank God. The photographer that evening, caught it on film, with one of his teammates happily patting him on the back. The whole scene - and the triumph of putting Castle in their place - was just precious. It's a memory I'll treasure forever.

I debated on whether or not to shoot the photo because I generally shy away from capturing images that are really private or emotional. At the time, I was not exactly sure if Ramsey was kneeling in prayer or perhaps was overcome by pain. I was happy (and relieved) that the photo was well received by Mrs. Smithey. It is always nice when one of your photos defines a moment in time for someone.
