I really want to see Fleming play. I hope that he can get back and get some game reps this season. I really believe that if going into the next two years with two stud running backs that can take it to the house from anywhere on the field, no one would be able to stop the running game. As long as we have enough of a passing game to keep teams honest, it could be like watching a track meet on the turf the next couple of years.
I know this is a bold statement, but if you can find me a better soph rb in the state I'll buy you a case of beer. Also, if Flemming is as good as his brother(I've heard he is a lot faster) then Reitz will have the best/one of the best backfileds in the state next year. B J Flemming is listed on the rivals/scout.com website at a 4.7 flat 40. That is very best for a high school rb. Mcintosh is a 4.65 to low 4.7 just to give you a example. So if Flemming is as fast or faster then his brother, Reitz will have two rb's in the backfield with 4.5/4.6 speed. The only downfall with these kids is they are only 165 pounds. If they can get up to around 180, they will have a chance to play college football. The scouts always look at 40 times. Crider ran a low 4.5 and Bell ran a 4.75. Bell's 40 time is probably what kept him from going D1. I know it isn't fair, but 40 times are very important. Dyris Haywood is a perfect example. He is a raw player, but he runs a 4.44 40. Scouts would rather take a fsat raw player and try and make him into a great player then a kid that has peaked at 18 years old.
