I'm glad you posted this, I was going by the John Harrell's date of August 27th for the Border bowl and they said it was Saturday,August 28. I checked with the Reitz official schedule and it is on Saturday. I guess when I buy my tickets today, I would have noticed the date. I was wondering why Foghorn was trying to decide on which game to go to on a night I thought Reitz was playing. I guess I'm the first one of my class to be going senile.

Just watched the interview (Both parts). Are you kidding me? First off, what is "game shape"? I agree, I hope we are in "game shape". Second, did he really say that he thought HC should have won that game? Was he watching the same game we were? (Although, I'm quite sure he didn't realize we had so many players out on defense in saying Matt plays safety. Matt played more as an emergency substitute.)

Then, they predict Owensboro to win the game based on Prince, defense, and special teams. Don't know that I buy into that. I believe our defense is probably better than their defense is, and will figure out a way to shut down that OHS offense that may or may not be in "game shape". You can not practice against speed, unless you have it. Even by their coach's own words, the drop off between their 1s and 2 is substantial.

'Cam, Cam, Cam, Cam, Cam, Cam' .. count 'em, yes, thats six mentions in the interview (the most any other kid had was two) .. hope 'ol boy can live up to the hype! The match up of the night is gonna be Matt vs Cam .. O & D!! LOL We'll see ..... It should be interesting to say the least! And one more thing .. close to the beginning of the interview .. notice the smirk on Cam's dad's, I mean coach Prince's face when the interviewer mentions last year's Reitz 15-0 State Championship season .. I bet it would be precious to know what was going on in his head .... just sayin.

I agree with his smirk...was very disrespectful! I got tired of hearing Game shape and that one kids name... fromhis bodily language and his demeanor i saw...lack of respect and a "im way too good to be playing this team" mentality. I think he will be in for a surprise.

HAHA game shape. That'll be talk of the town. But I will agree with him that us having played one game will be a difference because it will help our timing and our conditioning. 15 penalties for 130+ yards for Reitz vs 1 for 5 for Owensboro???? does this officiating team work for KWC basketball also????? geeze talk about a homer, I know that there should be a few penalities but you cant tell me that Owensboro only made 1 mistake. get that crew some glasses.

I agree. We had some legit ones but take 5 from us and give to them would have been more accurate. There was one blatent one in front of me where the Owensboro wideout lined up offside by half a yard or more right in front of the official and the flag was not thrown.
