Rudy, my name is Ron Eaton and I host a local radio show on ESPN on 106.7 FM. "Local Legends" is broadcast live from Archie & Clyde's in Newburgh on Tuesdays at 4:30 and is re-broadcast on Saturday mornings at 8:00. This coming week (Tuesday, Aug. 24), I am doing a show about Herman Byers and have scheduled Ed Wessel, Jim and Phil Byers and hopefully 'Porky' Nau as guests. I am trying to get the word out to Reitz fans in particular...

I would like to invite anyone who would like to come to attend the live broadcast and also to encourage anyone to send me an early email or to call into the show (842-0976) with their stories about or tributes to Coach Byers. I will also be doing future shows (and possibly TV also) about Reitz teams and athletes, so if anyone would like to be on my weekly email list, I can keep them abreast of upcoming topics. There is also a way for people to hear the live broadcast online.
